What is Ganga Dhaba?
A rather self-conscious attempt to create an "intellectual" atmosphere in the popular public space within the JNU Campus in New Delhi. Although having spent a few years in the campus, a disenchanted JNU student would perhaps tell you a different view of the Ganga Dhaba - whether it is intellectual, whether it is popular or even public space, not to mention a democratic space! However, this institution of JNU lives on and continues to attract students, old alumni as well as outsiders - last a much-maligned entity in the JNU campus, not without justification though.
